We were pleased to collaborate with Urban Land Institute Toronto on this new video featuring local city builders speaking to the challenge of housing affordability and options in Toronto.
It was prepared in advance of ULI Toronto’s upcoming Town Hall, which will feature presentations by the Curtner Urban Leadership Program Class of 2020 that define the problems at hand, and propose ideas to expand housing options in our city’s low-density neighbourhoods.
Ryerson CBI contributed coordination, plus the script and outline for this project, based on our prior research and report, Density Done Right. Our aim was to provide a summary of current challenges, and some innovative solutions for multi-family, “Missing Middle” housing in residential neighbourhoods and along our avenues.
You can register for the Town Hall, happening June 23, on the ULI Toronto website.
