This discussion series brought together notable urbanists and Ryerson academics for insightful discussions of the impacts of COVID-19 on cities and how the pandemic may change the way we live. Presented in partnership with Urban Land Institute Toronto.
Our signature meet-up events convened city builders around critical issues and raise awareness of policy issues. Held at the Ryerson Student Learning Centre, they consisted of an expert panel, professional moderator and audience-led Q&A. Explore our past events for topics, videos and links to media.
In 2018, we produced a gallery exhibition illustrating the threat of rising commercial property taxes to small business and culture in Toronto. The question: can our main streets survive?
We collaborated with Ryerson faculty and staff on courses, student-focused events and special initiatives on campus. Read about our work with the Ryerson community on innovative city-building ideas.
Our special presentations brought together diverse communities of practice to advance solutions in regional planning, policy and other areas.
